Paddle Boating: Rent one paddle boat for use in McGovern Lake. Gliding with the cityscape as your backdrop is a perfect moment to capture with the camera as you traverse the water.

Nature Walks: Stroll down one of the many trails meandering through the lush landscapes. Keep your eyes peeled for local wildlife, which includes butterflies and birds as well as an occasional fox or two.

Fishing and Swimming: You can fish right from the shoreline or even rent a boat to go around the lake. Note: There are the marked swimming places in case you're looking for someplace to keep cool.
